In the heart of the Andes, near the Salkantay trail leading to Machu Picchu, there is a place that has shaped the modern concept of sustainable glamping: Peru Eco Camp. A pioneer in South America, it was the first luxury eco-friendly glamping in Peru, featuring 28 m² geodesic domes, solar energy, an organic garden, and kitchens serving local dishes with fresh ingredients.
This experience directly inspired Esphera Glamping. Our team visited Peru Eco Camp to absorb the details of this reference: the comfort of king-size beds, wood-burning stoves, private bathrooms with showers, and the charm of large-geometry domes with panoramic windows—a true mountain soul luxury.
Peru Eco Camp operates with a series of five domes along the trails to Machu Picchu, hosting small groups of up to 14 people, reinforcing the intimate model we have adopted at Esphera.
What we learned there is present in every detail of our eight geodesic domes in Brazil:
- Sustainability with solar energy and conscious water use
- Symbiosis with natural landscapes
- Authentic gastronomy with a regional touch
- Experiences focused on privacy, contemplation, and exclusivity
This visit strengthened our mission: to bring to Brazil the most inspiring aspects of world-class glamping, with our own identity—and all the comfort our guests already know.
